UbiSoft is pushing energy to new Just Dance with single engine. There is double amount of content in Just Dance+ subscription, but this year's setlist is a bit underwhelming. After last year's trifecta of Harry Styles, Taylor Swift or Dua Lipa, there was hunger for more'

A chapter with more flaws than values, without significant innovations, and with a total focus on the online which distances it further from its original idea of a party game.

A great revival of the new Just Dance platform after a false start last entry. Finally, Just Dance integrates years of content into one game, providing access to all your purchased songs. The songs are more and more experiences with entertaining backdrops that border on being too visually distracting. Even Just Dance+ is now more fleshed out with enough content to make it worth it. The online Dancefloor is still missing in action.

Just Dance 2024 Edition is a downright great game. You’ve got a great and varied selection of tracks that range from the wacky to some of the more amazingly choreographed. Its visuals in between the stages and its colourful cast of coaches provide an eye-catching and immersive experience not just to dance into but also something to please your eyes and just watch. Its only real downside is it’s hard to get into since you’re forced to be connected at all times which even with a decent internet connection still suffers quite a bit.

In Just Dance 2024 Edition, we find what the fans expect from the annual releases of the franchise: a varied choice of recent songs, good choreography, and the introduction of new features. The issue is that many of the old issues are still present in the series, such as slow menus, crashes, and the dependency on online connection for many actions. For that reason, it's recommendable to check out the new release's soundtrack before buying this ticket for the big annual party.
