Guitar Hero Live is a successful attempt to revive the franchise with an original and innovative approach, mixing traditional gameplay with new mechanics and modes like Guitar Hero TV. The addition of the actual show and the interaction with the audience provide a unique experience. However, the change in controls can be difficult to get used to, and the extra charge model in Guitar Hero TV can be a hindrance. For fans of the series, the game offers a refreshing experience, but it may not be revolutionary enough for those who were expecting something even newer.
