Critic Reviews

By Gabriel KlimoForever Ago is a small voideogame that offers much more than meets the eye. It captivates with its beautiful pastel colors and excellent soundtrack, but lacks a bit of ambition and originality in its gameplay. Nevertheless, it delivers an enjoyable gaming experience and manages to engage players with its story and characters.
Atarita
By İdil BarbarosForever Ago delivers a heartwarming and deeply emotional experience across roughly 4 hours of gameplay. As we accompany Alfred - a grumpy old man - on his journey, we find ourselves feeling like a part of the story and even sharing in his emotions. So much so that it may well be one of the most emotionally resonant stories you can experience in the world of games.
Xbox Tavern
By Jamie CollyerAll in all, Forever Ago is a wonderfully told tale of love, loss, and how we manage our emotions through the passage of time, even when we’re thrown a curve ball. The relationship between Alfred and Audrey feels genuine, and it genuinely hit me in the feels multiple times. A few technical hiccups mar things slightly, but anyone looking to have a short but sweet experience should absolutely add this to their life plan.
GamingBolt
By Ravi SinhaForever Ago handles heavy topics with decent poise while presenting a gorgeous-looking, if low-key, road trip adventure. If only the actual gameplay could measure up instead of simply being there.
NoobFeed
By Maisie ScottForever Ago is a measured, personal adventure whose strongest moments come from the people and memories it asks you to notice. It is not mechanically complex, but it understands that a quiet story can leave a lasting impression.
