By Petr PolákExpeditions: Rome builds on the reputation of a great series, but raises the bar even higher. The game’s story is set in the historical setting of ancient Rome, and it makes excellent use of this to its advantage. At the same time, you can influence the course of history based on your actions and conversations. It’s a very well-executed combination of RPG and tactical strategy, with beautiful graphics. I encountered a few occasional graphical glitches while playing, but they weren’t significant enough to affect the overall enjoyment of the game. It’s clear that the developers really put a lot of effort into this game.
