Dreadhalls (2016)
White Door Games
Dreadhalls is a horror dungeon crawler for the Oculus Rift and Gear VR You will wake up in a scarcely lit dungeon. Find its exit, and avoid the creatures that dwell in it. Your only weapons will be stealth, your own courage, and a faint light that you’ll have to keep fed with oil, lest you want the darkness to engulf you. Dreadhalls is an intense and scary experience, not for the faint of heart. You have been warned!

Chalgyr's Game Room
By Nick HerberDreadhalls is an example of just how immersive Virtual Reality gaming has the potential to be, and with its bevy of jump scares and combination of atmospheric visuals and sound effects, there is a lot to like, especially at first. However, at its heart Dreadhalls is actually a shallow experience that likely will fail to encourage gamers to come back after besting its challenges once.
Digital Chumps
By Steven McGeheeDreadhalls is worth checking out. It's a quick and clear example of how VR can take what would be a pretty uninteresting concept and make it much more immersive and effective.
