By Patrik KlicmanBrigandine: The Legend of Runersia is a fantastic game. The Nintendo port is definitely a success, and with its intuitive controls, great music, pleasant graphics, and six playable factions, it has won me over. The only real downside I see is the combat on the hex grid, which is unfortunately let down by the visuals as well. That’s truly a shame, because the variety is perfect, but it’s nothing you can’t get used to.

By Andreas TkotzBrigandine certainly has flaws - whether it's the Japanese voice acting or the rather boring story and presentation thereof. The gameplay itself carries the game through the complete playtime; I had to think a lot, strategize a lot, but was accompanied by beautiful music pieces along the way.
