By Jeremy DuffMore software than game, Art Academy: Home Studio is an enjoyable experience with infinite replayability. Regardless of your artistic skill, it will teach you a thing or two and give you a nice creative outlet to express yourself with its expansive toolset.

By Jason HidalgoGranted, the game isn't perfect. Pinpoint accuracy can be a problem when trying to do intricate work with the stylus and touchpad. You also don't have the scope and breadth of features like you would with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, which honestly should be expected. For aspiring artists or weekend creative warriors who own a Wii U, however, Art Academy: Home Studio is an inexpensive and fun way to dabble into art of your own. Just be careful that it doesn't make you want to wear tight pants, striped shirts and a beret, um-kay?

By RahmingIn the end, Art Academy is certainly an amazing program for any artist regardless of their skill level. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, you're bound to enjoy the robust set of features that it has to offer.

By Robert WorkmanEven if art isn't your bag (it sure isn't mine), Art Academy: Home Studio is worth checking out. The abundance of options available at your fingertips is very cool, and the ability to share couldn't be easier, save for direct posting to social networks – but we'll make do with what we have. If you're a budding artist or even a kid who just wants to play around with different paints (without messing up the house, mind you), this is one Academy worth enlisting in.
